How To Maximize Marketing Conferences And Online Marketing Summits

online marketing summit digital conference event planning

You know they suck, online marketing summits and marketer conferences that is. And these marketing conferences are all over the place. And it is the same horrible formula over and over again. They get 20 entrepreneurs together to mail each other's’ lists to build a big audience. Then put 20 crappy one-hour interviews on video and feed them up to you the unsuspecting conference attendee as if you are going to really learn something. And presto, something magical happens. You actually learn something you didn't expect to!

Except it never does happen like this. And you are not really unsuspecting, are you? You have seen this dog and pony show before, marketers patting themselves on the back for profit. The conference music’s the same, even if the people are different. And in the end, you end up watching only a few of those interviews, because, let’s face it, they are just bad. The rest never even gets seen by marketers and attendees.

But why do people - maybe even you - still sign up for these things? If you know ahead of time it is going to be garbage, why register? One word: Hope. this is especially true for network marketers that rely on leads. Because we hope that one day, we will finally get the content those entrepreneurs have been promising. None of this “I will give you one trick; you can pay me for the other 3,” garbage. But this time actual, real business advice. Because we all need it so badly. Every entrepreneur needs help.

We need training and guidance. We need motivation and accountability. What we don’t need is another “rags to riches” story dressed up like business education to try and motivate entrepreneurs. Not when they spend 15 minutes talking about their favorite book or how they killed it with their lemonade stand as a kid. Give me a break! Just teach us the core business information we need. Things like: What should our cash flow plan look like if we are trying to start and grow an information business? How do you grow a consulting business when you’ve run out of time? How do you make the transition from work to entrepreneur - and not go broke in the process or quit too early?

When should you write a book and what should its real purpose be? How do you build an email marketing list? (For real, none of this… start with $10k of ad spend garbage) How do you sell to corporations and corporate c-suite decision-makers? How do you sell without coming across as salesy and pushy? These aren’t learned in typical summits. Part of the reason is not knowing which videos and speakers are right for you for your situation.

Part of the reason is not knowing which topic is right for you. And, let’s face it, part of the reason is many “speakers” really don’t know what they are talking about. They might know the best network marketing companies in Brazil or how to beg for business funding, but not the information that could actually help your business. Reading it in a book is not the same as living it. And finally part of it is ensuring the speakers are aligned with your core values. If not, their approaches will not resonate with you, and they won’t work for you. But imagine a summit model - full of great ideas in one place - no crap and added in only the really good parts. My friend Sherry Watson and I have done exactly that and we think it will be epic. We’re boldly calling it not just a summit, but a Super Summit.

Presenting the Do Good and Make Money Super Summit! The first big difference is that we have four separate Tracks or paths to follow. These are based on where you and your business or nonprofit is right now: Starting Your Venture; Your First $100,000; Your first Million; or Scaling to Eight Figures. Second big difference, these speakers span eight different pillars of entrepreneurial life:

Day One: Lead Generation
Day Two: Lead Conversion
Day Three: Systems
Day Four: Money Mastery
Day Five: Leadership & Strategy
Day Six: Abundant Life
Day Seven: Right People, Spectacular Results
Day Eight: Over Delivering Value

Eight days, one topic each day. This means you can easily invest time on the days that matter most to you now. And the third big difference is our street-tested speakers and panelists all align with our mission and belief that you can do good and make money at the same time. It’s not just about making money. And it's not just about doing good. Both at the same time! Best part is: attending is absolutely free. Sure, that’s a lot of content to absorb, so you’ll have an opportunity if you want to purchase lifetime access to the content. But even that’s where Sherry and I have broken the model.

We have decided to dedicate 100% of the net proceeds of this Summit to two of our nonprofits, the Living Legacy Institute and the Entrepreneur Empowerment Institute. So you know those funds will be put to good use. But of course, there’s no need to upgrade your access or donate any money at all. You will have to register for the Do Good and Make Money Super Summit. You can do that here. If you’ve been waiting for someone to finally stop pretending to educate entrepreneurs and really help, the time has come. Make sure you participate in this Super Summit. It runs live and you’ll get some amazing bonus content when you enroll now.

Conference Venues

Your London conference venue needs advance arrangements. You can find the best conference venue in London. Make sure your guest have pleasant rooms. Choose a conference room with electronic equipment. Find some hotels that have good accommodation for your guests. Get ready for your London conference by reading this article. Choosing a conference venue in London may not be as difficult as you thought whether you are live abroad or a London resident. If you have access to the internet, finding the perfect conference venue is just a few clicks away.

However, before you do that, you need to organize everything. Start with determining your needs. This involves knowing the size of the conference. How many attendees are you expecting? The size of your conference determines the size of the conference venue. This is very important if you want to save on unnecessary costs. If the conference is a major event that has more than 500 attendees, then you will prefer to have a meeting room that can accommodate all without feeling over-crowded. If the conference venue in London is a minor event with only 100 attendees, the venue size for London conference should fit your needs. Then, you have to know the amenities and equipment needed for the success of your conference.

Will you need a projector, a monitor and DVD player? How about whiteboards? If you think the conference is interactive and encourages participation from the attendees, then, you need to choose a venue that offers such conference facilities. London is a great place for a conference venue in London, whether special, personal or business. The city offers splendid attractions, particularly if your venue is situated at the heart of the city. If you and the attendees are not residents of London, you may need to consider the accessibility in going to the venue. Choose the hotels that offer transportation accommodation from the airport to the venue.

There are also London conference halls that offer discounts on room accommodation for your guests and attendees. If such is the case, amenities such as swimming pool, spa and Jacuzzis are very important so your guests will not get stressed after the conference. Check with the information desk of the hotel you will be holding the conference and see how varied their means to entertain their guests are. Another factor to consider in finding a conference venue is the food and beverage. If the conference lasts for three days or more, make it certain that the recipes and beverages are widely varied.

People may have food allergies. It is wise to have different meats cooked in different styles and cuisine. If you have guests from different countries, you had better ensured that people behind the conference kitchen know international cuisine. Hot and cold refreshments are important. Coffee and tea should be available as well as drinking water, juice and soft drinks. In France, it is their custom to serve wine before the meal. Whether you opt for wines to be served during mealtime or not, it would be best to check its availability in the London conference hotel, and consult it with the secretariat.

In most cases, wines are served during conference-related dinner party or gala. To be safe, you can inform the guests that wines are available upon request. You can also conduct a guest poll to know their food and drinks preferences, and collaborate with conference administration. If you want a conference venue in the city, make your plans early and get on the internet and start looking for a London location for the size of your company's conference. Do everything in your power to make your online marketing summit someone other than awful! Make sure your marketing online summit doesn't suck!
